This multiconference composed of
- 3rd Conference on Information Technology, Systems Research and Computational Physics,
- 6th International Symposium CompIMAGE’18 – Computational Modeling of Objects Presented in Images: Fundamentals, Methods, and Applications,
has collected 62 papers by authors from 21 countries on 5 continents. In the mind of all participants it was undoubtedly a very fruitful and the summer Cracow beautiful.
All accepted papers are available in the e-book
Contemporary Computational Science, eds. Kulczycki P. Kowalski P.A., Łukasik S.
The awards for the best papers of the ITSRCP’18 conference were received by Istvan Harmáti and László T. Kóczy (Hungary) for their work “On the Convergence of Fuzzy Grey Cognitive Maps”, as well as by Karol Kulinowski, Maciej Wołoszyn, and Bartłomiej Spisak (Poland) for the work “Effect of elastic and inelastic scattering on electronic transport in open systems”.
The awards for the best papers of the CompIMAGE’18 conference were received by Juan Camilo Calvera Duran, Octavio José Salcedo Parra and Carlos Enrique Montenegro Marín (Colombia) for their work “Design of a haptic exoskeleton for the hand with Internet of Things “, as well as by Karol Piaskowski and Dominik Belter (Poland) for the work “Fast Object Detector based on Convolutional Neural Networks”.
